Rating by category:
We were made welcome and although there was no milk staff supplied this plus a corkscrew.
The room was a bit small.
The room was small, but comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep in the bed. The bathroom was large enough to accommodate both of us getting ready at the same time. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. Also, the location is great - close to three metro stops, walking distance to the Bastille and Marais areas.
The "art" in the room was more than vaguely pornographic. My boyfriend and I are pretty liberally-minded people, but even we were offended. We tried taking the photographs down just for our stay, but they were bolted to the wall, so we ended up covering them with towels. It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but fair warning - maybe ask for a room with less provocative art?
The big windows n helpful n friendly staff
Very friendly & obliging staff. Great breakfast. Room spotless with very comfortable bed. Tea & coffee making facilities in room a welcome addition.
Outside appearance is offputing for first impressions. A coat of paint would achieve wonders.
Excellent staff, spoke excellent English, very good location, interesting interiors and decor. Would definitely visit again.
We found the staff and location perfect, and would have no problem recommending the Paname.
The room was pleasant and surprisingly quiet. The night receptionist was very helpful. The hotel had noted that we were arriving at around midnight.
I had reserved a parking space but when I arrived they did not have a space available for me. They room was very small and very basic. The location was OK.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and very good breakfast choice. Would stay there again. Good range of shops, restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Handy for picking up the no.1 metro at The Bastille and the blue line Open Tour bus.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room, while basic, was comfortable and good value for Paris. The air conditioning was a godsend during a heatwave. The hotel was well located, near the Gare de Lyon and desirable shopping areas. The breakfast, though served in a windowless room on the lower level, was anything but petit, more a dejeuner.
There's not much of a view from many of the rooms, as they mostly look out on a narrow pedestrian lane. Local television coverage was fine but the international satellite television channels were difficult, if not impossible, to obtain.
Breakfast was good but not includedin the room price. The balcony was practical when smoking.
Photos in internet much nicer, did not met the expectations. Small, old room with tiny furnitures, no space for clothes or there was a cabin but no shells in it, balcony was very funny way higher and no step to the balcony. No shampoo and hair conditions included and iron in the room. Very basic room. The services what hotel offered was not as described in the brochure. Not worth of money. Other services costing a lot of extra but customer not informed beforehand. No restaurant in the hotel, tiny bar and never saw anybody there, not comfortable. Staff had quite poor English skills and a lot of mistakes because of this and missunderstandings. Very disappointed to our Seine cruise reservation through hotel, we were left alone to the city after cruise, no tranportation as promised. We searhed 1 hour how to get a taxi or metro to get back. We called to hotel also but no help because of bad English skills. The food on the cruise was costing again extra.
Staff are all very kind, room is relatively big and clean. Overall is good compare to Paris hotels.
Some trivial deficiencies such as the chair is huge and heavy sometimes block the way.
actually nothing.we won't choose it next time we 'll go to Paris.
location.not convenient enough for sightseeing. size of the room, but all hotel rooms in paris are small. It had a sense of old and dusty hotel.Photos of the hotel were misleading.
The hotel is well situated, close to the Bastille and to the metro. Other good points include the free wireless internet access and the friendly staff.
The hotel looks much better on the photos on the Booked.net site than it looks in reality; actually, it is a bit used. The toilet in our room was separated from the bathroom, and it was so small that one could hardly close the door when inside. Walls must be quite thin, as we heard the movement in other rooms, or when someone used the toilet. Finally, we asked the staff at the reception to call a taxi to take us to the airport. He ordered a car without any taxi sign, no taxi meter, and the driver charged us 60 EUR (from Bastille to CDG, early morning, about 20 min drive). I don't know how much it would have been in a real taxi, but I thought that 60 EUR is too much (the same trip with metro+RER costs 8.70 EUR).
The service of the staff is friendly, warm and helpful.
The bathroom watercloset is seperated with the bath tube.
